One of our long term contracts is a FMCG provider who has seen a huge increase in production during the pandemic. We received a call from their Engineering Manager for additional health and safety support during a period of intense manufacturing and the supply and installation of new machinery. After meeting on site and assessing the Clients requirements, Pearl Safety provided full time site based support for 3 months, coordinating the construction phase and ensuring the continued control of contractors and suppliers in a secure Covid environment.
During this time we also “road tested” and assessed the Clients existing health and safety management system and made suggestions on areas of improvement. Our direct input on this project was very much appreciated by our Client and at the post project review, we identified training gaps for the senior management. This was immediately actioned by our Client and we arranged the CITB SMSTS course to upskill their knowledge.
